Bone & Joint Care at Lee's Summit Medical Center

Lee's Summit Medical Center offers comprehensive care and a leading-edge approach to the prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and disorders of the bones and joints. Our highly trained team of surgeons, nurses, physician assistants, rehabilitation specialists and medical support personnel works with each patient and their primary care physician to develop a treatment plan specifically for each patient.

The Joint Care Program at Lee’s Summit Medical Center provides joint replacement patients with comprehensive care before, during and after the procedure.  Participants in the program will enjoy:

• A pre-operative class with information about the procedure, precautions, hospital stay, discharge processes and planning and other important points.
• A t-shirt and shorts for use during your hospital stay
• Access to outstanding rehab and education
• Availability of excellent outpatient rehab following discharge

Each pre-operative class includes a light meal, and you are encouraged to bring a caregiver with you.  Classes are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.  To make a reservation, call (816) 282-5677.  View the presentation from the class or view the pre-operative information booklet.
